In the poem " Childhood Friends" by Mindy Carpenter, she is telling you about how strong a friendship is through the years of being a child, to being a teenager, to later being adult. That if you guys are really meant to be friends you will be, no matter what changes. As she says " we went from playing with games and toys, to talking and dreaming about different boys" No matter what happens, she will always be her childhood friend
